DIVINE KINGSHIP OF ASANTE

In Traditional Africa, Leadership is viewed as a sacred bound between God, the Ancestors, and the Community. Therefore the character of those selected as leaders must be beyond reproach. Additionally, since the leader(s) must not only ensure the protection of legacy while meeting the demands of the present and not compromising that needed for the future, extensive training is given to ensure those who lead are adequately prepared for the challenges they will face. The principles provided in this text, if applied, can serve as "A Model for Sustainable Development of Self and Community" the world over.
